Hi

We are back From California, but not for long. Sunday we are leaving for our team training camp in France. There we will focus on the first week of the Tour and team time trial. With the experience from last years Vuelta where we won the opening TTT, the synchronisation of the team and knowledge of the course were vital. So we are really keen to travel to the other side of France.

Back to California. After my experience last week in the states, California is definitelly one of my favourite races. The organization, roads and most of all fans were just incredible. With Gossis win in the last stage everything turned out well for the team as well eventually. TeeJay finished fifth in GC and won the best young rider competition. For me and Peter it was good beginning to the second part of the season. I hope with our performances we got again a little bit closer to the Tour team cut. Peter was pleased with his fourth place in the TT. For me it was all about controlling the race with Grabschi for the others and my long breakaway in fourth stage was just a little bonus.
